It has a long and interesting history and features on county maps of 1640. The Barracks is a Grade II listed building replete with authentic oak beams and inglenook fireplaces. Shop: 4 miles. The owners of this delightful, 'hidden gem', Gold Award cottage like to welcome their guests with home baked treats, free range eggs and in season; herbs, vegetables, fruit and flowers from the garden.
