The lodge is right on the water s edge and offers tranquil views across the water where a variety of wildlife can be observed. Kingfishers are frequent visitors as are ducks woodpeckers swifts and swallows. Try your hand at fishing on 1 of the 2 lakes stocked with carp and tench. Visitors can BBQ on the decked veranda with a glass of wine or hop into your own private hot tub and relax. Alternatively why not stroll down to the island picnic area accessed via a wooden walkway or explore the 6 acres of pretty woodland which is particularly beautiful in the spring and early summer. The land is bordered by a small river therefore extra care should be taken with children. Free access to all of the land and lakes. The property benefits from easy low-level entrances making them ideal for those with walking difficulties or the partially disabled. Double glazed and centrally heated throughout. Full length windows in both bedrooms with safety openers and fly nets giving great views of the lakes even from bed! The superb accommodation offers TWO bedrooms: 1 king-size double with TV/DVD and en-suite bathroom with shower attachment and 1 twin room with TV/DVD. Lounge/kitchen/diner: large open-plan with laminate flooring throughout leather sofas 42 flatscreen TV/DVD Freeview and music system electric fire. Dining area: with modern table and high backed dining chairs. Kitchen: well-equipped with electric oven hob large fridge/freezer washing machine dishwasher microwave and many stylish extras. Outside: french doors open onto the veranda with seating private decked area with hot tub gazebo with excellent views of the lakes. Amenities: ample parking visitors can park next to the lodge.
