The small farm is home to sheep and hens as well as a wealth of wildlife such as deer foxes hares and barn owls you can enjoy countryside walks or cycle rides from your doorstep. Half a mile away is the Tarka Trail a long distance path that winds through the Torridge valley until it reaches the sea. Nearby you can visit RHS Rosemoor Gardens the small market town of Great Torrington along with the coastline only 30 minutes away - choose between the wide sandy beach of Westward Ho! the spectacular cliffs above Bideford Bay the many tiny coves or the cobbled harbourside village of Clovelly. Leisure facilities: There are 20 acres- perfect for play or for sitting quietly and enjoying the views. Visitors can enjoy exploring the farm with its wildlife ponds wildflower meadow. Outside: relax in the enclosed shared lawn picnic area which is 10 yards from the cottages with ample seating and play space which offers games facilities: goal post selection of ball games and netball hoop. Converted from an old milking shippen overlooking the orchard this property offers FOUR bedrooms: on the first floor there are 2 large rooms both with countryside views comprising 1 double with en-suite WC and handbasin and 1 twin bedroom. On the ground floor there are 2 bunk bedrooms with 3 bunk beds. Bathroom: large family size on the first floor with bath separate shower and WC. Separate shower room with WC on the ground floor. The hallway kitchen and sitting room all have hardwood parquet floors. Lounge: comfortable room with flatscreen TV DVD hi-fi books board games and french doors leading outside. Kitchen/diner: large and well-equipped with beamed ceiling farmhouse table and chairs electric cooker with ceramic hob combination microwave fridge/freezer washer/dryer and portable flatscreen TV/DVD combo. Outside: bench seating for the exclusive use of the cottage.
