This charming cottage in the heart of Connemara is set in the spacious wildlife friendly gardens of the owner's residence. Formally a pottery which has now been converted into a self catering cottage for 2/3 guests (plus +/- pet). Please note access is from downstairs and cottage is solely for your use. It is located equally between the harbour village of Cleggan, the working village of Letterfrack and Clifden (6 miles where you can buy fishing permits and rods) A perfect base for exploring the inland National Park and the rugged Atlantic coastline. There is a large open plan living area with single sofa bed, a double/twin bedroom and private patio area with seating. Directly outside your door is a herb garden for your use and the area is a birdwatcher's paradise. Fahy Bay is a 15 minute walk, with a secluded beach 5 minutes further on. Shopping, music, pubs and restaurants are all within easy reach.Shop. Pub. Restaurant 4 miles. Beach 1 mile. GF: lounge/kitchen/diner with sofa bed, double or twin with ensuite shower room.Electricity by meter read, storage heaters, linen and towels included, TV, dvd player, radio, CD, fridge with small ice box, microwave, w/machine, hairdryer, partially enclosed shared garden, patio area, garden furniture, shared driveway, off road parking. One pet welcome.
