Castle Acre is a pretty North-West Norfolk conservation village which is steeped in history and has a timeless quality to it. The Norman Castle earthworks and the beautiful ruins of the magnificent Cluniac Priory are the best preserved in the country. The village is sited on the ancient Peddars' Way, and the area offers ample opportunities for good walking and cycling. The beautiful North Norfolk coast and the cities of Norwich and Cambridge are within easy travelling distance.

Peddars Cottage is a modern cottage-style house next to the ancient Bailey Gate in the centre of the historic village of Castle Acre. It has been recently renovated and provides comfortable, well-equipped accommodation. The cottage is close to the village shops and pub/restaurants, and only a short walk away from the castle, priory and river. This property is in an ideal location for exploring Norfolk. Shop: 0.25 miles Pub: 100 yards

Sitting Room traditionally furnished with comfortable seating, TV with Freeview, DVD player and open fire
Kitchen/Dining Room with electric cooker, fridge with ice compartment, freezer, microwave, washing machine, table and chairs

First Floor:
Bedroom 1 with a double bed and washbasin
Bedroom 2 with twin beds
Bedroom 3 with bunk beds
Bathroom with bath, over-bath shower, washbasin and wc

Garden: Shared green area to front, small fully enclosed patio area with table and chairs at the rear.
Parking: For two medium to large cars in garage and on driveway.
Heating: Night storage heaters including May-Sept and £25 per week Oct-Apr, payable on booking.
Also Provided: Towels. Books and games and tourist information.
Pets: One well-behaved dog welcome, to be kept downstairs and off the furniture at all times.
