River Cottage is a contemporary holiday cottage situated in the popular Lower Mill Village area of the Cotswold Lakes. The cottage provides a modern holiday home perfect (in our opinion) for children and families. The property is set within a gated community with an outdoor heated pool (seasonal), tennis court and miles of cycle/walking trails for people of all ages to enjoy. Inside the owners have created a cottage that contains cool furniture alongside new gadgets, including IPod docking station. The open plan living is a great feature that is perfect for family holidays ACCOMMODATIONEntrance into hallway with Cloakroom, with WC and washbasinUtility Room with washing machine and dryerKitchen, fully equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave, large fridge freezer, dishwasher plus other essentials.Dining Area with good size dining table with seating for six (eight with stools), plus iPod dockLiving Area with woodburning stove, beautiful sofa / chaiselonge, flatscreen TV, DVD plus French doors to decking overlooking River Thames!UpstairsBedroom One with double bed and Ensuite Bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and washbasin.Bedroom Two with single bed. Bedroom Three with bunk beds. (Please note that only one bed will be 'made-up'.)Family Bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and washbasin.Bedroom Four with double bed plus Ensuite Bathroom with bath, shower over, WC and washbasin.OutsideThere is a decked area to the rear of the cottage with seating and table. This overlooks a small stream (tributary to the Thames). There is also offstreet parking. Within a short walk is the outdoor heated pool available Easter to October plus the tennis court. (Please note: there is no access to the ArtSpa with this property). Naturally there are countless walks from your front door!Sorry No Pets. No Smoking. Children Welcome. Friday changeovers please. Short Breaks considered outside of school holidays / half terms. Heating & Electricity included. Cot & High Chair supplied. Use of additional bed(s) / any more than six persons charged at £40 each.
