The Secret Garden is a traditional mid 1800's cottage at the heart of the village opposite St Peters Church. The cottage has been thoughtfully restored and furnished in keeping with the period. Wenhaston is a pretty village, with a pub within walking distance of the cottage, which serves food and local ales. There are also three lovely areas of common within the parish which are ideal for local walks. There are coastal resorts and nature reserves within easy reach. Wenhaston is only six miles from Southwold and Walberswick, with Minsmere approximately 8 miles away. The Norfolk Broads and many beauty spots can be found within half an hours drive. Halesworth, four miles away, has a regular train service from Norwich and London. There is a regular bus service through the village to Southwold, Lowestoft and Aldeburgh. The pretty garden has several shady seating areas including a wooding arbour overlooking the small pond. A gate from the garden leads to Church Common. Pub: 1 mile Shop: 3 miles Ground Floor: Sitting Room with digital TV/DVD, open fire Kitchen with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge with ice box, washing machine, table and chairs and stable door which leads to the rear garden. Steep and winding stairs to First Floor: Bedroom 1 with a double bed Bedroom 2 with twin four poster beds Bathroom with bath, Mira shower, washbasin, and w.c. Garden: Pretty cottage garden containing arbour and small pond. Shed containing garden furniture, barbeque, kindling logs and coal. Parking: Roadside Heating: Free standing electric radiators and open fire. Also Provided: Towels and telephone for incoming calls and internet access. Notes: Parents should be aware that there is a small pond in the garden.
