The property, which dates back to circa 1800, has a rich history as one of the main warehouses servicing the busy railway that once ran through the village. Today the owners have beautifully modernised the building to create a gorgeous self catering property perfect for families or small groups alike. Internally considerable thought has gone into every detail with spacious rooms, contemporary touches and high quality materials evident throughout, including an oak kitchen and very comfortable beds. Externally, the cottage sits in the heart of the village (moments from Forest of Dean's woodlands) with two pubs nearby. The delightful heritage steam railway which still has periodic use through the summer, can be viewed from the courtyard! In our opinion this is a real getaway gem with something for everyone to enjoy - an excellent choice.ACCOMMODATIONEntrance through to hallway with ample space for coats and boots.Living Room with two large sofas, large flatscreen TV with Freeview and DVD player, plus electric 'woodburner style' fire, games and steros.Kitchen, leading to dining room, oak units with slate flooring; fully equipped with small breakfast bar and stools, electric hob and oven, large fridge freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Dining Room with table and chairs for six people, with doors leading to patio area.Utility Room with washing machine, tumble drier plus washbasin.Cloakroom with WC and washbasin.UpstairsBedroom One  a large room with King Size bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe, plus Ensuite Shower Room with shower, WC and washbasin. Bedroom Two with twin beds, wardrobe with chest of drawers and view towards the old heritage railway!Family Bathroom with bath, separate shower, WC and washbasinBedroom Three with twin beds, wardrobe with drawers.Play Room with sofa - bed* OutsideThe property has a courtyard to the side/rear with table and chairs. Otherwise, there is a small lane to the front with the local cricket pitch just 2 mins away! Sorry No Pets. Cot and high chair available. Heating and electricity included.
